Word documents are great for editing, but PDFs are better for sharing. PDFs look the same on every device, can't be easily edited (protecting your content), and are the standard for official documents, resumes, and professional communications.

Converting Word to PDF locks in your formatting. No more worrying about fonts not loading, margins shifting, or layouts breaking when someone opens your document. The PDF looks exactly as you designed it, every time.

Why Convert to PDF?

PDFs are universal. Everyone can open them, regardless of whether they have Microsoft Word, Google Docs, or any other software. They're perfect for resumes (employers expect PDFs), contracts (legal standard), and official documents (professional appearance).

Plus, PDFs are harder to accidentally edit. When you send a Word doc, recipients might make changes without realizing it. PDFs prevent that, keeping your original content intact.

The Conversion Process

Our converter reads your Word file and recreates it as a PDF. It captures fonts, images, tables, headers, footers, and page breaks. The result is a PDF that matches your Word document pixel-for-pixel.

The conversion happens in your browser, so your document never leaves your computer. Upload, convert, download—that's it. No cloud storage, no waiting for servers, no privacy concerns.

What Gets Preserved

Everything important transfers: fonts (including custom ones), images at their original resolution, tables with all borders and shading, headers and footers, page numbers, and even hyperlinks. Your document structure stays intact.

The PDF will have the same page count, same margins, same everything. It's essentially a snapshot of your Word document, frozen in time and format.

Word to PDF Conversion Questions

Will my custom fonts work?

Custom fonts are embedded in the PDF, so they'll display correctly even if the recipient doesn't have them installed. The PDF contains everything needed to render the document properly.

What about track changes and comments?

Track changes and comments are typically not included in the PDF. If you want to preserve them, accept or reject all changes in Word first, then convert. Comments can sometimes be converted as annotations, but it's not guaranteed.

Can I convert multiple Word files at once?

Currently, you convert one file at a time. This ensures each conversion gets full attention and accuracy. For multiple files, process them one by one—it only takes seconds per file.

What if my Word file has macros?

Macros don't transfer to PDF—PDFs don't support executable code. The visual content converts fine, but any automation or scripts in your Word document won't work in the PDF.
